A Cape Cod Tale
In the Beginning...
It was April, 2004 and in the quiet village of Marstons Mills on Cape Cod, a sign appeared. "Nibbles-n-Sips ...Coming Soon!"
Having been inspired by her childhood pleasure for baking, Patricia Mitrokostas, who had been an Administrator in a large city Job Training Program, was now the Proprietor of a neighborhood Cafe, Nibbles-n-Sips. It has become a wonderful venue for her creativity and her great enthusiasm for holidays and special occasions.
The Cafe offered an inviting comfortable atmosphere with an array of fine homemade foods and old-fashioned service. Within weeks of our opening, we were asked by a local family to cater a Memorial Service for their son for seventy five people. As a result of this successful event, of which we were privileged to be a part of, our catering division was born.
We are proud of our achievements, including being voted the Best Mid Cape Coffee Shop by Cape Cod Life Magazine for 2007 & 2008, supporting our local schools, churches and non profit organizations by providing food and gift certificates for their community events. Nibbles-n-Sips annually sponsors a Relay for Life Team for the American Cancer Society and supports the MSPCA, and the local libraries.
In February, 2009, we sold our Marstons Mills location. In April 2009, we relocated to Heritage Museums & Gardens in Sandwich, MA where Nibbles-n-Sips now operates Blossoms Cafe and we continue to expand our catering services.
The key to our success has always been our customers, they are the reason we are here, not as an afterthought, but as our foremost thought.
And every day, a new beginning....at "Nibbles-n-Sips"
